The roar of the crowd, the pre-game adrenaline, the bone-crushing tackles, and the absolute pride in the Marauder name—these are the shared memories that bind us together. No matter how many years have passed since we last strapped on the pads, that bond remains unbreakable.
Recently, a dedicated group of alumni came together with a singular mission: to reignite that legendary spirit and build an unshakeable foundation for the future of Marauder Football.
The Spark: A Vision Shared by the Brotherhood
The Marauder Football Alumni Association (MFAA) was born out of a shared realization by founders Bryce Ritter, Mark Oliver, Brandon Ralph, and Justin Williams. They recognized a void in sustained alumni engagement and decided it was time to build something permanent—an organization built by player for players that stands the test of time.
During our initial strategy sessions, the vision for this new chapter quickly took shape:
The MFAA is more than just a social club or an association; it’s a movement. We are a fully independent organization dedicated to uniting all former, current, and future Marauder football players.
Our mission is simple yet powerful:
"The Marauder Football Alumni Association unites past, present and future Marauders to create lasting opportunities for students, strengthen community pride, and ensure the tradition of excellence continues for generations to come."
To achieve this mission, the MFAA is focusing on several core pillars designed to bring value to both our alumni and the current football program:
We want to bring the brotherhood back together. Expect regular gatherings, networking events, and epic tailgates—especially as the team transitions to playing back on campus.
The career diversity among our alumni is staggering. We are leveraging this massive network to create mentorship programs, connecting current players and younger alumni with established professionals in various fields to foster career development.
While we operate independently to ensure long-term stability, we want to partner closely with the athletic department. As we secure our 501(c)(3) status, our goals include financial contributions, assisting with recruiting efforts, and providing unique resources, such as helping players' families travel to games.
We are building a welcoming environment for all alumni, regardless of financial capacity. While there will be membership tiers featuring exclusive MFAA merchandise (swag) and special event access, our primary metric of success is your presence and participation.
We aren't looking for a quick flash in the pan. We are pacing our growth to ensure that the infrastructure we build today will smoothly transition to future generations of Marauders decades down the road.
We are incredibly excited about what’s next, but an association is only as strong as its members. We need you in the huddle. Whether you graduated five years ago or forty years ago, your place in the Marauder legacy is permanent. Join us as we look to the future, honor our past, and support the next generation of men who will carry the torch.
Are you ready to lock arms with the brotherhood? Stay tuned for upcoming events, membership registration details, and ways to get involved!
